- Olde Towne Auto Repair

As usual. Very satisfied with the work effort on our Honda CRV. Part delivery was understandably long where in we were a one car family for almost 3 months. So far car appears to be working fine. Thanks. |

Good service. Very reliable but need to tell then exactly what you want done to your vehicle. Its best to not do drop offs so you can show exactly what is wrong with your vehicle. |

Excellent customer service. Olde Towne was able to accommodate me despite not having an appointment for an alignment. |

Brought my truck in for brakes grinding - really bad. I am not ignorant of auto mechanics, but I am pressed for time, so I asked OTAR to make the repair. Got a call that nothing was wrong, just a little rust on the rotors that would rub off eventually. I was dubious, asked the caller to drive it to make sure, because it sure sounded like metal-on-metal to me. No call back, caused me to call. Same story, so I picked up the truck and paid $50+ for a state inspection and diagnostics. The next day, I had a catastrophic failure of the right front brakes. Almost couldn't stop at an intersection. I check it out and find the inside pad is gone with the rotor shot to hell. My brakes obviously weren't checked by a competent mechanic or he or she was having a very bad day... Took it to another mechanic who fixed it same day. I sure was steaming, but decided to let it pass and just not come back to OTAR. But, then you asked for my feedback. |
